Motor Vehicle Complaint- 9:30 a.m.

Centre Street and Walpole Street- Caller stated a black Taurus had been following too closely for a majority of Centre Street. Area was checked and gone on arrival.

Fire- 3:36 p.m.

Springdale Avenue- Caller reported the telephone pole in front of her house is sparking and that she saw flames. Fire Department and Police notified.

Sherborn

Hazardous Conditions- 4:12 a.m.

Lake Street- Tree across roadway. Units removed tree from roadway.

Traffic Enforcement- 6:06 p.m.

Mill Street and Cross Street- Two citations issued.

 

Tuesday- March 8, 2011

Dover

Erratic Operation- 9:10 p.m.

Centre Street- Reporting party stated there was an erratic operator in a red pickup truck. The vehicle was stopped and the operator was issued a verbal warning.

Suspicious Activity- 9:37 p.m.

Cranberry Lane- Reporting party reported that someone turned on three of their water spigots located on the outside of their home at some time during the day. Officers would increase patrols in the area.

Sherborn

Complaint- 2:42 p.m.

Western Avenue- Caller reported two dirt bikes coming out of the woods in the area. Last seen traveling down Wester Avenue towards Framingham. Framingham PD notified.

Annoying Phone Calls- 9:30 p.m.

Resident requested a well being check on her son who she stated lives in Natick. After speaking with her son (who actually lives in Wayland) he stated that he and his mother are estranged and she had been harassing him and calling him non-stop. A well-being check by the Wayland PD showed that the son was ok.

Dover

Motor Vehicle Stop- 7:55 a.m.

Centre Street and Dover Farms Road- Written warning issued for running a red light.

Domestic Disturbance- 3:58 p.m.

Pine Street- Walk-in reports a family dispute.

Sherborn

Erratic Operation- 1:01 p.m.

Eliot Street and Lake Street- Reporting party stated that they were traveling eastbound on Washington Street behind a green pick-up truck that is all over the roadway. Reporting party stated that the truck weaved in and out of it's lane multiple times. Citation issued.

Assist Citizen- 7:55 p.m.

Western Avenue- Reporting party said they received a call from a person who stated they were looking for a house in the area to use as a demonstration house for a new security system. This person "who was not well spoken" had called twice today and received a similar call about 10 days ago.

 

Thursday- March 10, 2011

Dover

Medical Emergency- 3:16 p.m.

Chickering School, Cross Street- Possible fractured arm. Child with an injured shoulder. Parents notified by school. Transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Unwanted Person- 3:36 p.m.

Centre Street- Reporting party wanted a contractor working without her permission to cease work and leave property. Contractor was informed and left the property.

Sherborn

Animal Complaint- 7:57 a.m.

Washington Street- Dead fisher cat in the roadway. Referred to CM&D.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud- 2:49 p.m.

Sherborn Police Department, Washington Street- Daughter was involved in an internet scam.

 

Friday- March 11, 2011

Dover

Erratic Operation- 7:09 a.m.

Centre Street and Knollwood Drive- Officer reported vehicle is straddling the center line. Operator was issued a verbal warning for marked lane violation.

Leaving Scene/Property Damage- 9:17 p.m.

D-S Middle School, Farm Street- Calling party stated that his vehicle was struck in the student lot at the Middle School.

Sherborn

Medical Emergency- 12:31 p.m.

Sawin Street- 52-year-old male had back surgery yesterday and is unable to move from his chair.

Phone Complaint- 1:21 p.m.

Western Avenue- Reporting party stated that she heard dirt bikes riding in the area.

 

Saturday- March 12, 2011

Dover

Property Damage- 8:44 a.m.

Donnelly Drive- Resident reported damage to an underground Verizon utility box.

Lost/Missing Property- 3:38 p.m.

Bretton Road- Party called to report that a cell phone was lost in the Noanet Woods on Saturday. The phone is silver. If the phone is opened there is a picture of a raccoon inside.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Stop- 2:49 p.m.

Coolidge Street and Prospect Street- Ricardo M. Sousa of 7 Weld Street Apartment 31 in Framingham, MA was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, attaching plates to a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured vehicle, and taking and carrying away a registration plate.

Animal Complaint- 4:07 p.m.

North Main Street- Caller reported a goat in the roadway.

 

Sunday- March 13, 2011

Dover

Deer Hit or Killed- 1:10 a.m.

Springdale Avenue and Farm Street- Caller stated an injured deer sitting roadside.

Animal Lost/Missing- 12:04 p.m.

Pine Street- Dog with no collar found on Pine Street by a motorist. Animal Control Officer was notified to pick the animal up. The dog is a female basset hound.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:40 p.m.

Bullard Street- Citation issued.

Animal Complaint- 9:47 p.m.

Western Avenue- Coyote struck by a motor vehicle, moved to the side of the road.

 

Monday- March 14, 2011

Dover

Medical Emergency- 1:51 a.m.

Ledgewood Drive- Caller requested an ambulance for a 24-year-old male who has had a high fever for several hours and is feeling dizzy. Patient transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Needham.

Leave Scene Property Damage- 7:57 a.m.

Riga Road and Pond Street- Officer reported damage to a pole resulting from a motor vehicle crash. Officer believed that the vehicle involved was a Ram truck with a missing passenger side mirror and rim.

Sherborn

Vehicle Check- 2:16 p.m.

Washington Street- Checked ok.

Erratic Operation- 3:23 p.m.

Washington Street- Citation issued.
