Dover

Complaint- 1:10 p.m.

Knollwood Drive- Resident states that she believes the nanny returned to her home, the car seats were left in her driveway and she believes the front door had been unlocked. Resident wanted to inquire about a no trespass order. Matter resolved, advised to stay away from property and not contact resident.

Fireworks Complaint- 9:09 p.m.

Greystone Road- Reporting party reported fireworks or possible gun shots. Area checked, nothing found.

Sherborn

Complaint- 2:09 p.m.

Western Avenue- Reporting party advised an election sign had been stripped off a post in the area of Western Avenue and Brook Street.

9-1-1 Noise Complaint- 9:03 p.m.

Lake Street, Farm Pond Recreation Area- Report of 5 loud gun shots coming from the area of Farm Pond. Appeared to be fireworks from Natick.

 

Tuesday- May 3, 2011

Dover

General Offense- 12:01 p.m.

Hartford Street- Resident reported that kids placed handwritten notes in his mailbox last Friday and again on Tuesday. There was nothing threatening about the notes, they appeared to be a fake company soliciting info for a "Go Green Company" written in magic marker. Resident would like the notes to stop and requested officers to keep an eye out for youths placing things in his mailbox.

Breaking and Entering- 4:42 p.m.

Woodridge Road- Caller reported items missing in her home. Officers to take report and investigate.

Sherborn

Deer vs. Vehicle Crash- 8:55 p.m.

Woodland Street and Greenwood Street- Motor vehicle hit deer. Deer took off on arrival. Party will contact insurance company.

 

Wednesday- May 4, 2011

Dover

Suspicious Activity- 1:41 a.m.

Riga Road- Calling party stated that there was a vehicle parked in front of their residence and it had its lights off. Calling party described the vehicle as a sedan. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.

Fraud- 10:45 a.m.

Willow Street- Resident stated that fraudulent activity was reported to him by Bank of America on his debit/credit card. Approximately $700 worth of fraudulent purchases were made on his card. Additional purchases were made on a second report with and overall total of fraudulent purchases equaling $2000-$3000. Purchases took place in the Roxbury area.

Suspicious Activity- 9:09 p.m.

Centre Street- Found a burning bag of dog feces on his front step. Would like to speak to an officer.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Stop- 6:23 a.m.

Western Avenue and Stevens Lane- Court complaint issued for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of special regulation.

9-1-1  Call- 9:09 p.m.

Whitney Drive- Person was trying to make an international call.

 

Thursday- May 5, 2011

Dover

Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle- 6:56 a.m.

Rocky Brook Road- Reporting party walked into station to report a B&E into his motor vehicle. A $1500 watch and $35 cash was taken from his center console around 6-6:30 a.m. The detective located the suspected party, obtained an admission and transported the party in custody back to the station. Arrest made.

Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle- 6:22 p.m.

Reporting party reported a theft from her car this morning. Reported stolen was a silver iPod and a pair of aviator sunglasses.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Stop- 1:13 a.m.

Coolidge Street and Prospect Street- Arrest made for operating under the influence with blood alcohol level greater than .08%, marked lanes violation, and possession of an open container alcohol in motor vehicle.

Traffic Enforcement- 5:39 p.m.

Western Avenue- Three citations issued.

 

Friday- May 6, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Crash- 2:15 p.m.

Farm Street- Motor vehicle crash. Medics dispatched. Officer requested fire department for fluids leaking from the vehicle. Patient was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Deer Hit or Killed- 6:44 p.m.

Powissett Street- Reporting party reported deer struck.

Sherborn

Assist Citizen- 5:24 p.m.

Leland Drive- Assist with car lockout. Entry gained.

9-1-1 Motor Vehicle Crash- 5:57 p.m.

Eliot Street and Lake Street- Motor vehicle accident. Child with possible seatbelt injury to abdomen.

 

Saturday- May 7, 2011

Dover

Assist Other Agency- 7:41 a.m.

North Street (Medfield)- Caller reported hearing screeching tires then a loud crash from the area of Centre Street and Hunt Street. Officers assisted with flipped vehicle.

Erratic Operation- 11:29 p.m.

Centre Street- Needham Police reported an erratic operator, operating a brown Lexus heading down Central Avenue in their town towards the Needham-Dover line. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.

Sherborn

Deer vs Vehicle Crash- 8:11 p.m.

South Main Street and Goulding Street East- Two different motor vehicles struck the same deer. Deer gone on arrival.

 

Sunday- May 8, 2011

Dover

Burglar Alarm- 10:56 a.m.

Haven Street- Officers responded and observed an open door to the kitchen area.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:59 p.m.

Hartford Street and Ledgewood Drive- Citation issued for speeding.

Sherborn

Traffic Enforcement- 10:10 a.m.

Western Avenue- One citation issued. One criminal application for unlicensed operation.

Animal Complaint- 2:05 p.m.

Brush Hill Road- Raccoon seen stumbling and falling on its side in the area of Brush Hill Road. Raccoon acting strange upon arrival causing potential safety hazard for residents/children/pets. Necessary action taken.

 

Monday- May 9, 2011

Dover

Directed Patrol- 12:39 a.m.

Buttercup Lane- Officer reported garage door open. Homeowner was contacted and advised. Garage door was secured.

Sherborn

Traffic Enforcement- 1:24 p.m.

Brook Street- One citation issued.
