Monday- May 9, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 5:47 p.m.

Pine Street- Resident stated that there was an injured fox in her backyard. Fox was gone on arrival.

Schaffner Lane- Resident stated that her 8 lb. black poodle has been missing for an hour. Dog has pink collar on.

Sherborn

Assist Other Agency- 8:57 p.m.

North Main Street- Two goats found on Glenn Street in Natick. The Peace Abbey will house the goats for the time being.

Complaint- 9:45 p.m.

Coolidge Street- Report of a speeding car then  the sound of a screech and a crash.

 

Tuesday- May 10, 2011

Dover

Malicious Destruction- 9:20 a.m.

Resident stated that sometime last night someone had struck her mailbox with a bat or a pipe. The mailbox is dented but still on its post.

Erratic Operation- 7:52 p.m.

Claybrook Road- Caller reported an erratic operator. Caller stated the vehicle behind him was tailgating him and at one point pulled up next to him. By the end of the conversation the vehicle in question was no longer in sight.

Sherborn

Animal Complaint- 12:17 p.m.

Bullard Street and South Main Street- Report of a coyote in the area. Message left for animal control officer.

 

Wednesday- May 11, 2011

Dover

9-1-1 Call- 1:32 p.m.

Cross Street, Chickering School- Calling party reported that her and another party were stuck in the elevator. Officers and Fire Department dispatched. Fire Department was able to gain access to the elevator. No injuries reported.

Sherborn

Traffic Enforcement- 2:44 p.m.

Western Avenue- Two verbal warnings issued.

 

Thursday- May 12, 2011

Dover

Suspicious Activity- 7:00 a.m.

Donnelly Drive- Medfield resident called reporting that while walking her dog on Donnelly Drive a heavyset hispanic male in a bright blue Honda followed her along her walk, at one point saying something to her in a language she couldn't understand and then drove past her house when she got home. Officers checked the area with negative results.

Sherborn

Animal Complaint- 10:59 a.m.

Mill Street- Caller reported a cow in the road. Single black and white cow located in the field across from Leland Mill reservation.

Animal Complaint- 11:22 a.m.

Old Orchard Road- Caller reported her cat is 40-50 feet up a tree. Fire Department notified.

 

Friday- May 13, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Crash- 7:02 a.m.

Snow's Hill Lane- Motor vehicle crash, roll over. Fire and EMT's dispatched. Occupants transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham.

Erratic Operation- 7:40 a.m.

Farm Street and Donnelly Drive- Caller stated that a red Durango passed her going in the opposite direction driving at an excessive speed, crossing the yellow line and driving up on the curb.

Animal Complaint- 4:46 p.m.

Miller Hill Road- Caller reported a 3-foot snake crawled where the foundation meets the house. She is no longer able to see the snake. A message was left with animal control to perhaps get a phone number of a company who could remove the hazard. Animal Control will call the homeowner.

Sherborn

Traffic Enforcement- 5:31 a.m.

South Main Street and Barakat Lane- One citation issued.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud- 11:00 a.m.

North Main Street, Sherborn Cleaners- Caller reported a woman had not paid her bill.

Complaint- 2:20 p.m.

Speen Street- Caller reported yield sign had been struck and is damaged. CM&D notified.

 

Saturday- May 14, 2011

Dover

General Info- 12:50 a.m.

Claybrook Road- Officer reported a suspicious motor vehicle traveling east on Claybrook Road slowly. Officer turned around and was unable to locate the vehicle. Officer checked all area construction sites, all appear secure.

Operating Under The Influence- 3:16 a.m.

Springdale Avenue and Farm Street- Officer reported one in custody for OUI. Transported involved party to meet with her father coming from Medfield. Subject bailed and placed in protective custody.

Found/Lost Property- 8:49 a.m.

Farm Street and Wight Street- Sign from high school recovered from intersection of Farm and Wight. Sign returned and advised groundskeeper who will check area.

Sherborn

Town Bylaw Violation- 3:39 p.m.

Mill Street- Resident stated two kids on motorized bikes were on conservation land across from Mill Street. Leaving heading towards Nason Hill. Reporting party requested they be advised not to be on that property with bikes.

Traffic Enforcement- 6:53 p.m.

North Main Street- Two citations and two verbal warnings issued.

 

Sunday- May 15, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 9:19 a.m.

Walpole Street and Taylor Lane- Report of a dog in the roadway with no tags. Reporting party was able to get female yellow lab and bring her to the police station. Owner picked up dog.

Lost/Missing Property- 1:49 p.m.

Walpole Street- Bicyclist turned in a key ring with one key with a green handle and six small swipe cards. Key ring was found in roadway in Natick/Dover, unknown street. Ring in lost and found box.

Sherborn

Assist Other Agency- 2:21 a.m.

Interfaith Terrace and 2nd Street, Framingham- Report of a gunshot in the area.

Animal Complaint- 12:02 p.m.

Mill Street and Hollis Street- Reporting party stated there was a cow loose at the entrance to the Leland Reservation. Owner responded and claimed animal.

 

Monday- May 16, 2011

Dover

Medical Emergency- 12:40 p.m.

Miller Hill Road- Reporting party said her dog groomer was bitten in the hand and is now lightheaded. Patient refused transport and was going to go to the hospital on his own. Dog was a Cairn Terrier.

Animal Complaint- 4:28 p.m.

Dedham Street and Strawberry Hill Street- Caller stated that hens on Dedham Street were running into the roadway causing an unsafe condition. Incident referred to the animal control officer.

Sherborn

Vehicle Check- 2:51 a.m.

Sparhawk Road- Occupied vehicle, parked in the dark at the bottom of a hill on Sparhawk. Four males asleep inside.

Assist Citizen- 8:46 a.m.

Stoney Brook Road- Reporting party stated that her 6-year-old had locked himself in a room. Reporting party was unable to open the door. Entry gained.
