Police Respond to Hunter Setting up Camera in Woods

The Dover Police Department provided the following information.

Saturday, April 6

2:24 a.m.: A resident reported an alarm going off on Draper Road with smoke coming from the house. Westwood firefighters responded and helped extinguish the fire. 

10:41 a.m.: A caller reported being approached at the Dover Market by lacrosse players selling a twenty dollar coupon book. The caller offered ten dollars and the players responded by requesting twenty dollars. The caller felt it was suspicious they requested twenty dollars. Officers made contact with the lacrosse players and made contact with the caller explaining the cost of the coupon book.

11:22 a.m.: A caller on Powissett Street reported a hunter dressed in camouflage setting up a camera in the woods. An officer checked the area but could not find a camera.
