Public Meeting For Dover Police Chief Search Input A Week Away

Please note that on February 10, 2011, the Dover Police Chief Search Committee will hold a public meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Selectmen’s meeting room at the Dover Townhouse for the purpose of soliciting input and comments from the public, and Town boards, committees and departments to assist with our search for a new Town of Dover, Chief of Police.

While the search committee has been working diligently to assist the Board of Selectmen in making this important decision, we would appreciate input as to the types of qualities a police chief in Dover should possess, and suggestions as to how the police department may be more effective in dealing with Town boards, committees, departments and constituents.
