Resident Says Mother Cut Off Her Finger
The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Monday, June 17
2:17 p.m.: A caller reported her friend is missing. Officers contacted nearby hospitals but could not make contact with the missing person. The caller later stated the person could be heading to Norwood. Officers contacted the Norwood Police Department who had not seen the missing person.
6 p.m.: An officer on patrol located a tree on power-lines. NStar said the cleanup was too dangerous and needed a crane to remove the tree. Officers temporarily closed the road as a result.

Wednesday, June 19
10:15 p.m.: A person entered the police station reporting his mother "cut off her finger and is passing out in the front seat." Ambulances responded to the station and transported a patient to Beth-Israel in Needham.
