Tuesday- Dec. 27, 2011

Annoying Phone Calls- 10:53 a.m.

Hunting Lane- Caller reported that someone called her from a Boston phone number and wanted to verify her address for a package delivery. The caller reported that she was calling from a post office in Atlanta. The reporting party observed the 617 area code and asked if she was in Boston and the caller then hung up. Verizon was contacted and stated that the number had been disconnected. Extra house checks requested.

Suspicious Activity- 2:03 p.m.

Western Avenue and Pleasant Street- Animal Control Officer reported a male dressed in camouflage carrying a bow and arrow ran across the road and onto conservation land. Environmental PD notified. Area checked, gone on arrival.

Wednesday- Dec. 28, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 3:20 p.m.

Fawn Road- Beige Buick in the area. A second caller reported the vehicle at the end of her driveway. Vehicle was out of Walpole.

 

Thursday- Dec. 29, 2011

9-1-1 Erratic Operation- 5:00 p.m.

Eliot Street and Lake Street- Silver SUV crossed the double yellow line. Vehicle observed with no erratic operation.

Serve Warrant, Arrest(s) Made- 8:12 p.m.

Washington Street- Hung Thanh Tran, 42, of 36 Lois Ct., Attleboro, Mass. was arrested for allegedly receiving stolen property valued at more than $250.

 

Friday- Dec. 30, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 10:07 a.m.

Washington Street- Caller reported that a grey 18-wheel dump truck had a hand hanging off of the tailgate that looked lifelike. Area checked, gone on arrival.

9-1-1 Complaint- 5:04 p.m.

Lake Street- Caller reported that there was a vehicle traveling behind her with the high beams on. Both parties stopped and a passenger from the vehicle approached the caller and yelled at her. Both vehicles left the area. Information taken.

Motor Vehicle Crash- 5:20 p.m.

North Main Street and South Street- Reporting party stated that she was rear ended at the lights. Operator of the other vehicle appeared to be intoxicated and left the area. Unknown direction of travel or vehicle color or make.

 

Saturday- Dec. 31, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 8:05 p.m.

Forest Street- Caller reported that a vehicle slowed down in front of his house and shined a laser pointer in his window.

Auto Theft- 8:59 p.m.

Spywood Road- Caller reported that his housekeeper called him in Florida and reported that his vehicle is missing from his driveway. He wanted to report the vehicle stolen at that time.

 

Sunday- Jan. 1, 2011

Hazardous Condition- 10:00 a.m.

Lake Street- Caller reported numerous broken bottles in the road. Hazard removed.

 

Monday- Jan. 2, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 9:50 a.m.

Butler Street- CM&D Director reported that someone in a red F350 took wood from the yard without permission. The vehicle was occupied by two males. Area checked, unable to locate.

 

Tuesday- Jan. 3, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 9:32 a.m.

Old Orchard Road- Police received a call about a suspicious blue van idling in the area for a period of time. Two females soliciting Christian scriptures in the area.
