Hollis Street- Reporting party stated that his mailbox was stolen at some point during the night.

Tuesday- Oct. 11, 2011

Hazardous Conditions- 5:04 p.m.

South Main Street- Bale of hay in the roadway. Medfield Highway Dept. was dispatched.

Animal Complaint- 8:57 p.m.

Hunting Lane- Report of a flying squirrel in an upstairs room. Officer explained to the resident that she needs to call someone to trap the animal.

 

Wednesday- Oct. 12, 2011

Medical Emergency- 4:56 p.m.

Lake Street- Male fell off his bicycle.

9-1-1 Erratic Operation- 8:21 p.m.

North Main Street- Silver minivan speeding and swerving, followed by a green Jeep Wrangler.

 

Thursday- Oct. 13, 2011

Vandalism- 3:35 a.m.

Bogastow Brook Road- Street sign missing. CM&D notified.

Utility Complaint- 8:24 a.m.

Forest Street- Report of a telephone pole being struck. No vehicle in the area. Pole was split and hanging over the roadway. Verizon notified and road detoured.

Fire, Structure- 1:59 p.m.

Washington Street and Western Avenue- Report of a barn on fire. State Fire Marshal requested.

 

Friday- Oct. 14, 2011

Deer vs. Vehicle Crash- 5:07 p.m.

Western Avenue- Caller reported he hit a deer and it was still alive. Animal was left on the side of the road. Animal Control Officer contacted and picked up the deer.

Suicidal Male- 6:20 p.m.

Western Avenue- Sales company out of CA reported a resident at an address in Sherborn returned their call and told them to take him off their call list because he lost his job and was going to now overdose on pills. Man was transported to the hospital.

 

Saturday- Oct. 15, 2011

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud- 9:52 a.m.

Lake Street- Dover PD reported a larceny of an Xbox from a yard sale. Reporting party now unsure if the item was stolen.

Annoying Phone Calls- 12:44 p.m.

Kendall Avenue- Caller reported she received a call from someone who told her he was watching her. Resident advised to contact the phone company.

Suspicious Activity- 9:23 p.m.

Coolidge Street- Three females who were walking down the street ran away from an officer as he approached. The girls reunited with a mother who was parked nearby. Check ok, the girls were ghosting a friend in the area.

 

Sunday- Oct. 16, 2011

Animal Complaint- 12:37 p.m.

Western Avenue- Report of a coyote in the fields on Western Avenue. Area check and the animal was gone on arrival.

 

Monday- Oct. 17, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 1:55 p.m.

Kendall Avenue- Vehicle stuck in a pond. Resident thinks it may be the vehicle involved in past property damage complaints.

Complaint- 4:32 p.m.

Washington Street- Report of someone in a red Subaru wagon smoking a joint.

 

Tuesday- Oct. 18, 2011

Complaint- 12:56 p.m.

Lake Street- Complaint of a motorboat on Farm Pond. Town bylaw citation issued.
