Monday- Oct. 3, 2011

9-1-1 Motor Vehicle Crash- 5:25 p.m.

South Main Street- Reporting party stated there was a severe accident outside his home. Single vehicle crash, one male party involved and was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

Animal Complaint- 8:23 a.m.

South Main Street and Bullard Street- Medfield Police reported a coyote that was struck by a vehicle.

Disabled Motor Vehicle- 6:35 p.m.

AAA roadside assistance stated that there was a disabled motor vehicle in a dangerous location and requested a police presence.

 

Wednesday- Oct. 5, 2011

Animal Complaint- 2:54 p.m.

Great Rock Road- Reporting party stated that a large coyote ran across the street from the area of Great Rock Road. It then ran behind a stone wall and was able to catch a large woodchuck. The coyote was very large in size (lg German Shepard) and did not appear to be afraid of children or adults. Possibly rabid and dangerous. Animal Control Officer could not locate the animal.

Deer vs. Vehicle Crash- 8:57 p.m.

Prospect Street- Car vs. deer. Deer put down. Animal Control Officer advised and referred the issue to  CM&D in the a.m.

 

Thursday- Oct. 6, 2011

Motor Vehicle Stop- 6:00 a.m.

South Main Street and Farm Road- Court complaint issued for allegedly operating a motor vehicle without a license and a stop sign violation.

9-1-1 Erratic Operation- 3:19 p.m.

North Main Street and Eliot Street- Reporting party stated a vehicle that was all over the road and crossed the double yellow line several times. No erratic operation observed by officer.

 

Friday- Oct. 7, 2011

Vehicle Check- 4:10 a.m.

North Main Street- Registration came back as a stolen plate. Operator advised, registry issued replacement plate and will update their system.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 7:05 a.m.

Western Avenue and Brush Hill Road- Operator allegedly driving after his license or right to operate was revoked and was speeding in violation of special regulations.

Assist Citizen- 4:02 p.m.

Washington Street- Mother wanted an officer to speak with her child who is refusing to wear his safety belt.

 

Saturday- Oct. 8, 2011

Hazardous Conditions- 12:29 a.m.

South Main Street and Bullard Street- Report of a black horse in the roadway at the intersection of South Main and Bullard Streets. Area checked and officers were unable to locate the horse.

Animal Complaint- 2:41 p.m.

Bullard Street- Reporting party stated that there was a coyote in the area. It did not come near any people.

Animal Complaint- 5:09 p.m.

Prospect Street- Caller reported her dog was fighting a raccoon. Animal Control Officer notified. Raccoon was not located and ACO was updated. Owner was advised to bring the dog to the vet to get checked.

Assist Other Agency- 9:23 p.m.

Kendall Avenue, Natick- Robbery at the 7/11 in Natick. Suspect located in the Second Street area in Framingham.

9-1-1 Motor Vehicle Crash- 9:54 p.m.

Towne Lyne Road- State Police reported a motor vehicle crash on Middlesex Street. 1 unresponsive female. Millis and Holliston Police notified. Crash was in Holliston. HPD to take over investigation.

9-1-1 Suspicious Activity- 10:12 p.m.

Oldfield Drive- Caller reported that she was just ghosted by a group of youths. Unable to locate anyone in the area. Officer spoke to the reporting party who stated that the youths banged on her door and then left her a bag of candy.

 

Sunday- Oct. 9, 2011

Motor Vehicle Stop, Arrest(s) Made- 2:34 a.m.

Farm Road and Forest Street- Paulo DaCosta of Richardson Street, Woburn, MA was arrested allegedly for two outstanding warrants.

Burglary (B&E)- 9:38 a.m.

Oben Lane- Caller reported he was gone for the day yesterday and returned home today and found items missing from a jewelry box. 1 gold necklace and 1 ring valued at $1500 was missing. Home was unlocked to allow workers to get power. Company on sire was B-E Retrofit.

Motor Vehicle Stop, Arrest(s) Made- 7:11 p.m.

Eliot Street- Erratic operation reported. 1 under arrest. Courtesy transport given to 2 parties who were passengers in the vehicles.

 

Monday- Oct. 10, 2011

Complaint- 5:52 p.m.

Hollis Street- Reporting party stated that his mailbox was stolen at some point last evening.

 

Tuesday- Oct. 11, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 2:37 p.m.

Bogastow Brook Road- Vandalized mailbox possibly from Hollis Street on the side of the road. Confirmed by an officer that the mail carrier returned the mailbox to the owner on Hollis Street.
