Monday- June 20, 2011

Dover

Continuing Investigation  - 1:38 a.m.

Draper Road - Officers conduct an investigation of a previous noise complaint call.

Hazardous Condition - 2:44 p.m.

Centre St. and Knollwood Dr. - Multiple callers report a hay truck had lost approximately 15 bales on the road. The highway department took care of removal.

Animal Complaint - 2:59 p.m.

Caller reports large snake in bulkhead stairs. Animal control officer notified.

Sherborn

Medical Emergency – 8:06 a.m.

Western Ave. - Five year-old boy self-administered an EPI pen without having any allergic reaction.

Phone Complaint – 6:22 p.m.

Prospect St. - Caller reported her 16-year-old son had allegedly taken their white Chevy Suburban from their driveway.

Disabled Motor Vehicle – 10:23 p.m.

Coolidge St. - A motorcycle was found on the side of the road.  Another call was received stating there was also a person walking in the area of Sunshine Dairy.  Motorcycle owner was found, had run out of gas and called for to retrieve it.

Tuesday - June 21, 2011

Dover

Vandalism – 3:53 p.m.

Pine St. - Caller stated her mailbox was vandalized.

Suspicious Activity – 5:11 p.m.

Centre St. - Solicitor refused to leave the property when asked to by the homeowner. After six times, the solicitor finally left.

Sherborn

Lost Property – 1:25 p.m.

Sunshine Dairy Farm – Kendall Ave. - Caller reported possible larceny of wallet.

Suspicious Activity – 5:43 p.m.

Nason Hill Road - Caller reported she was house sitting and arrived at the home to observe an open window with the screen pushed in. 

Wednesday - June 22, 2011

Dover

Suspicious Activity – 9:05 p.m.

Caller reported a man hitchhiking on Hunt Dr.  Police officer responded and brought the hitchhiker to the police station to arrange for a ride.

Sherborn

Erratic Operation – 6:48 p.m.

Farm Road - Caller reported vehicle went off the road and almost struck a utility pole. 

Thursday - June 23, 2011

Dover

Animal lost/ missing – 6:38 p.m.

Meeting House Hill Rd – Caller reports that a stray cat has been coming around her house for the last several days. The cat appears lost and weak. The cat is gray with yellow eyes and long hair. Officer checked log and no cats are reported missing. Animal control was notified.

Suspicious Activity – 10:24 p.m.

Hilltop Rd – Caller reports she saw an unusual light in the woods behind her house in the middle of the night last night. Caller was advised to call the police the next time she sees anything unusual. Officers checked the area.

Sherborn

Erratic Driver - 9:03 p.m.

North Main St. - 911 caller reported a vehicle allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road. Additional witnesses also flagged down an officer. One person was placed into custody.

Friday - June 24, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Stop – 10:30 p.m.

Walpole St. – A verbal warning was given for operating equipment.  Operator had a juvenile operator’s license with a passenger in the car.

Sherborn

Animal Complaint – 10:50 a.m.

Prospect St. - Caller reported a deceased raccoon on his property and asked for it to be removed.

Complaint – 8:57 p.m.

Course Brook Road - Resident calls to report hearing about be an alleged underage drinking party.

Saturday- June 25, 2011

Dover

Missing person – 2:28 p.m.

Police check  for a missing 72-year-old male from the Medfield area. He was possibly in the woods and along the Charles River.

Animal Lost/ Missing - 3:46 p.m.

Caller states she found a pet parakeet in her yard. The animal control officer was notified and the caller stated she will hold onto the bird and put up flyers.

Sherborn

Animal Complaint

Eliot St. – Caller states he struck a baby deer and it may still be alive.

Alarm, Burglar – 10:37 p.m.

Sonitrol reports a glass break alarm. Natick officers responded. Sgt. Mick and Natick officers search the property. All appeared OK at the time.
