Sherborn Police Log: Dead Deer in the Street

The following information was provided by the Sherborn Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, October 12

Dead Deer in Road (2:55 a.m.) - A deceased deer was in the roadway on Washington St. An officer removed the deer from the roadway. The Animal Control Officer was contacted to remove the deer.

Dead Deer in Road (5:17 a.m.) - A deceased deer was in the roadway on North Main St. An officer moved the deer out of the road. The Animal Control Officer was notified, but someone removed the dead animal before the ACO arrived.

Dead Deer on Side of Road (8:31 a.m.) - A caller reports a dead deer on the side of the road near the intersection of South Main St. and Bullard St. The Animal Control Officer removed the deer.

Egg Throwers (10-26 p.m.) - A resident reports that some kids were throwning eggs at cars on South Main St. Officers checked the area, but the kids were gone. No damage was done to the vehicles.
