Sherborn Police Log: Fire in a Barrel

The following information was provided by the Sherborn Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, November 19

Tailgated (10:47 a.m.) - A Maple St. caller reported that the same party has tailgated him multiple times while honking as he pulls into his driveway. The most recent incident had taken place much earlier, so the caller was advised that he should call closer to the incident.

Fire in a Barrel (4:03 p.m.) - A caller reported that someone was burning something in a barrel. An officer was dispatched and advised a male about the open burning laws. The male put out the fire.

Tuesday, November 20

Burglar Alarm (1:52 p.m.) - Officers responded to a burglar alarm on Cider Hill Ln. They checked the house, and were able to determine that the alarm went off from the landscapers working on the property.

Suspicious People (3:12 p.m.) - A call came in from Harrington Ridge Rd. about a couple walking on Oldfield Dr. in the area of Dexter towards Harrington Ridge. The caller stated that they looked suspicious and they hadn't seen them in town before. An officer checked and the couple was gone upon arrival, but they matched their description matched that of a homeowner in the area.
