Sherborn Police Log: Hurricane Sandy Handled Well

The following information was provided by the Sherborn Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, October 29

There were several calls throughout the day regarding trees falling in the roadway or on wires due to Hurricane Sandy. No major injuries were reported, and police said that for a storm like this everything went well. Roadways were blocked at times from falling trees and power was lost from trees falling on power lines.

Two homes did have trees fall on them. One of those homes did suffer extensive damage. Neither of the residents of those homes suffered injuries from the falling trees, though.
