The following information is provided by the Sherborn Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Stranger Outside (7:19 p.m.) - A Maple St. resident called stating that a silver Subaru wagon with multiple items in the rear had just parked in her driveway. The caller described the unknown individual as a male in his 40's with blond, balding hair wearing a light blue collared shirt and jeans. He had just rung the doorbell and had called the home multiple times. The caller stated she did not know the person at the door. The Subaru left and headed in an unknown direction before police officers could arrive.

Larceny (10:41 a.m.) - A Western Ave. resident came into the station to report that a GPS and garage door opener had been stolen from her car.

Jump from Moving Car (8:34 p.m.) - A Russett Hill Rd. resident called to report that she and her daughter had just been leaving in their vehicle when they heard what they believed to be a person in the backseat. Both the operator and the passenger then jumped from the vehicle and allowed the car to cross the road and crash into their neighbor's yard. The Holliston Police Department and the Ashland Police Department were both notified for mutual aid. The area was checked, but officers were unable to locate a suspect. It's possible the noise could have been items shuffling in the rear of the vehicle.
