Sherborn Police Log: Suspicious Activity

The following information was provided by the Sherborn Police Department. When arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, October 1

Suspicious Activity (4:54 p.m.) - A caller reported that a green Hyundai with a red color license plate was traveling near Green Ln. and driving slow looking at the houses. The operator was described as a short, white male, wearing a navy blue hat, black and white jacket and jeans. Officers made contact with the driver, who stated that he was in the area looking for edible mushrooms. He was advised and sent on his way. Officers contacted the caller who reported the driver to keep him informed.

Suspicious Activity (11:02 p.m.) - A resident of Western Ave. reported that 15 minutes earlier he saw a person walk up his driveway with a flashlight. The caller stated that he then observed the person head into the woods. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate a person. It's possible it was a dog with a light on its collar.
