Sherborn Police Log: Walking Home in the Dark

The following information was provided by the Sherborn Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate an arrest.

Sunday, November 4

Suspicious Person (5:10 p.m.) - A Farm Rd. resident called to report that she saw a male between 5-8 and 5-10 wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up walking down the driveway to a house with the lights out. The lights were later put on. It wound up being the resident coming home from a walk.

Car Crash/Arrest (12:03 a.m.) - Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Kendall Ave. Benjamin Ruggaber of Sherborn was arrested and charged with OUI-Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Operation of a Motor Vehicle in Violation of a License Restriction and Marked Lanes Violation.

Complaint (11:28 a.m.) - A Lake St. resident reported that someone was walking dogs on the beach.

Theft (4:49 p.m.) - A Ward Ln. resident reported her tractor was stolen.

Political Mischief (9:34 p.m.) - A Cider Hill Ln. resident reported that his Romney, Brown and Callahan political signs were stolen from his yard.
