Sherborn Police, Secret Service Investigate Counterfeiting Currency and Make Arrest

The Sherborn Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Saturday, May 11

5:58 p.m.: After a motor vehicle stop, officers arrested Christopher Meisnr, 44, from 72 Wethersfield Road in Bellingham and charged him with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

8:03 p.m.: Officers conducted a follow-up investigation regarding counterfeit bills and called a suspect, asking him to come into the station for questioning. The suspect admitted to the production and passing of counterfeit bills.

Officers notified the secret service who arrived to further question the suspect. Dave Lockerby from 11 Rosenfeld Road in Millis was arrested and charged with counterfeiting US currency and uttering counterfeit bills.
