One woman, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was at one point going in and out of consciousness and had to be freed from the vehicle by Sherborn firefighters.

“She was sort of in and out at first but she was conscious when I got there,” Bento said. “When the ambulance arrived they actually had to call a fire truck from Sherborn to cut one of the doors off to get one of the passengers out.”

The other two victims were a woman who was driving by herself and a male operating the vehicle with the female passenger. Both were driving Toyota sedans.

According to Bento, speed or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the accident at this time.

The call came in at 6:49 p.m. for a motor vehicle accident.

Authorities from Sherborn, Medfield, Millis and Framingham all responded to the crash.
