Dawley Named Dover Selectmen Chair in Board Realignment

As is the custom in Dover, the Selectmen who is in his or her third year of their term is voted Chair of the Board.

In thier first meeting since the Annual Town Election, the Board of Selectmen in Dover was realigned Tuesday night.

As is customary in Dover, the Selectmen in his/her third year of their term takes over the role of Chair.

Then-Chair Carol Lisbon and Selectmen Joseph Melican voted to appoint Selectmen James Dawley as the new Chair.

After the Board members switched seats they continued the meeting with Dawley at the helm.
