Dover-Sherborn Committee Meeting Roundup for the Week Ahead

It's Monday, which means it's a new week. That means there a some new meetings coming up in the Dover-Sherborn area that you might want to know about. Here's what's going on with various boards and committees and Dover and Sherborn this week.

Dover:

On Wednesday the Dover Parks and Recreation Commission will meet at 7:15 a.m. at the Caryl Community Center. They will be discussing many things, from staff training, configuration of their offices and a long range plan for the department; to a discussion of the tennis courts, Caryl Park dugouts and the irrigation system.

Dover-Sherborn Schools:

On Thursday, August 30, the Dover-Sherborn Regional School Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m. at the Middle School. They will focus on goal setting for the 2012-13 school year.

Sherborn:

Today the Sherborn Selectmen will meet at 10:30 a.m. for a Warrant Only Meeting.

Later, at 7:30 p.m., the Recreation Department will meet to discuss repairing the skate park and tennis courts. They will also discuss the Summer Snappers Swim Program, among other things.

On Tuesday the Fire Chief Selection Committee will meet at 9:00 a.m. to discuss the next steps in selecting a new Fire Chief.

Also on Tuesday the Agricultural Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m., when they will discuss reorganization, among other things.

Lastly, the Cemetary Commission will meet at noon on Saturday.
