One Sherborn Restaurant Fails Health Code In Second Round of June Board of Health Inspections

The Sherborn Sandwich Company had one violation during the health inspections on June 27. 

The health inspector found that the fridge, which was storing milk, water and orange juice, was a higher temperature than 41 degrees. The milk was at 57 degrees, according to the inspection report. Twenty-three containers of milk, chocolate milk and orange juice were removed and placed in a dumpster by the restaurant's owner.

 As for the other Sherborn restaurants, all passed inspection.

• The Sherborn Inn was found in substantial compliance, but the inspector noted the walk-in refrigerator thermometer was missing, but that “all the difficult-to-reach areas were clean.”
• The Sherborn Out was “found in good condition,” according to the health inspector.
• C + L Frosty, as the inspector noted, has “high standards,” and was found in substantial compliance of health codes.
• Sherborn Day Spa was found in good condition, according to the inspection report.
• Sherborn Fuel was found “clean and organized,” according to the inspector.
• Rustic Pizza was encouraged “to keep up the good work” by the inspector.
• Dunkin’ Donuts had no violations, and the inspector noted it had “good temperature logs in place.”
• St. Theresa’s Parish passed, with the fridge retaining a temperature of 40 degrees.
• Unitarian Church had “good signage and instruction” in the church’s kitchen.
• Pilgrim Church was found in substantial compliance, with no health violations.
