Sherborn Appoints New Town Administrator

Selectmen choose Framingham Assistant Town Manager David Williams.

 

Selectman Paul DeRensis submitted the following:

David Williams was appointed Town Administrator of the Town of Sherborn, per unanimous vote of the Board of Selectmen, subject to negotiation of a mutually acceptable contract.

Here is David Williams background:  

Occupation: Assistant Town Manager, Human Resources Director and Chief Procurement Officer, Framingham (February 2010-present).

Education: Master of Public Administration, James Madison University; BA, Public Management, University of Maine.

Career Highlights: Was the first town administrator of West Bath, Maine, “Maine’s Smallest City” (January 2000- June 2003), and served as finance director, treasurer and collector for the same town. Served as Weston’s assistant town manager/director of finance and administration.
