Sherborn Revenue Development Committee Wants Ideas to Raise Revenue & Lower Residential Tax Burden

Committee will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall and invites residents to joins them.

The following was submitted by George Morrill, Chairman of the Sherborn Revenue Development Committee:

The Sherborn Revenue Development Committee would like to invite all citizens to submit ideas on how Sherborn can raise revenue in order to lower the Residential Tax Burden in Town.

The Revenue Development Committee was appointed by the Board of Selectmen to find alternate sources of revenue for the town to relieve pressure on the residential property taxes.

The Committee consists of George Morrill of Parks Drive, Marc Forchielli of Whitney Street, Terence Driscoll of Old Orchard Road, John Edgar of Peckham Hill Road and Ed McGuire of Nason Hill Road.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 21, and starting in September, we will hold a regular meeting on the last Tuesday of every month at the Sherborn Town Hall at 7 p.m.
