Sherborn Voter Turnout Exceeds Expectations

According to Sherborn Town Clerk Carole Marple, voter turnout has exceeded her initial anticipations.

Election worker Jake Frankenfield, an incoming senior at Dover-Sherborn High School, was helping out for the day at the polls in Sherborn.

Frankenfield said he first got into politics by watching the West Wing on television. Once he became interested in the Student Director Program at Town Hall, his "eyes became open to civic duty," he said.

Frankenfield was scheduled to help voters check in all day until 8 p.m., when the polls close.
