Back To School Night Announced At Minuteman High School

Back to School Night at Minuteman High School is an opportunity for parents to get acquainted with the teachers and programs at the school.

Minuteman High School Back to School Night will be on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011. It is an opportunity for parents and guardians to meet their son/daughter’s teacher, and to learn about classroom content, and expectations including grading and homework requirements.

Each class will be seven minutes in length with an allocation of three minutes to pass to the next period class. Teachers will distribute a course outline/overview and review expectations. Parents/guardians are asked to bring a copy of their son/daughter’s schedule.

All parents will assemble in the Café and the program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., with a brief overview of the evening’s schedule.

The schedule for Back to School Night has been changed to allow for the participation of parents of upper-class students in grades 10, 11 and 12. In order to accomplish this change, there must be two separate schedule rotations to accommodate Format 1 and Format 2.
