U.S. News Ranks D-S High School 6th Best in Massachusetts

D-S High was also awarded a gold medal ranking from the school.

The U.S. News & World Report released their annual list of best high schools across the country and Dover-Sherborn Regional High School has once again found themselves near the top of the list.

D-S was ranked the 6th best high school in Massachusetts and the 166th best high school in the United States. They also received a gold metal rating from U.S. News.

According to the U.S. News, D-S ranks in the 99% percentile in proficiency in English and the 98% percentile in proficiency in math.

"Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework and exams. The AP participation rate at Dover-Sherborn High School is 72 percent. The student body makeup is 48 percent male and 52 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 7 percent. Dover-Sherborn High School is the only high school in the Dover-Sherborn [area]," their website said.

Sturgis Charter Public School was ranked number one in Massachusetts, while Boston Latin School, TVL foe Hopkinton High School, Belmont High School and Weston High School round out the top five.

The number one ranked school in the country was the School for the Talented and Gifted in Dallas, Texas.
