D-S Boys Hockey Picks Up Win Over Wayland

D-S evened up their record with the win and now stand at 2-2 on the season.

The Raiders killed off six power plays including a 5-on-3 in the third period en route to a 4-3 win over Wayland Monday night.

D-S trailed 3-2 when they picked up two penalties in just over 30 seconds. They killed off both and went on to score two goals in the third period.

The Raiders got goals by Geoff Eckles, Jared Spence, Charles Blizard and Demitri Marken.

Shane Brady led the way for Wayland with two goals on the night. Lucas Bastarche added the other goal for Wayland.

D-S is now 2-2-0 on the season while Wayland fell to 0-2-1.

Their next game will be on Wednesday Dec. 21 at home against Bellingham.
