D-S Football Wins Big On Senior Night

With the win the Raiders stopped a five-game losing streak.

The Raiders dominated on Senior Night winning, 48-19, over Ashland.

D-S had a huge night offensively scoring seven touchdowns, six on the ground and one through the air.

The Raiders were down early in the game after Ashland recovered the opening kickoff and went on to score a touchdown. However, they missed the PAT.

The Raiders responded on their next drive with a touchdown of their own taking the lead, 7-6, which they would not relinquish for the rest of the game.

The Dover-Sherborn defense also had a strong game intercepting three Clockers passes and shutting down their running game.

Seniors Billy Polk and Jonathan Marston each scored two rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Will Scatchard had one rushing touchdown and one passing touchdown to receiver Steve Alessandro.

Sophomore running back Anton Gomes also added a 35-yard touchdown run in the win.

Ashland is now 3-7 on the season. Dover-Sherborn is also 3-7.

The Raiders don't play again until the Thanksgiving game against rival Medfield at Medfield High School at 10:00 a.m.
