Give Local Sports a Boost with Annual Triathlon

Help high school sports in Dover and Sherborn.

The ninth annual Dover-Sherborn Triathlon to support the Boosters is happening Sunday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m.

According to its website, the race includes a 0.25 mile swim, 14.8 mile bike, and 3.4 mile run. In the past, registration has filled up by early August. There is a post-race brunch buffet.

All Sports Events will be the new timer this year. According to the site, "... their chip timing technology combined with their live results monitors will enhance the competitors experience. Results will be posted the following day at www.allsportsevents.com. We continue to make improvements in our race based on the excellent feedback that we have received from our competitors."

Boosters funding, according to the site, "allows our high school and middle school to continue providing quality athletic experiences for our children. Our mission is to highlight the Boosters organization and the towns of Dover and Sherborn while providing an event that focuses on health and exercise."
