Lady Raiders Basketball to Miss Postseason After Loss to Ashland

The girls needed to win their final four games of the regular season in order to make it to the postseason.

The Lady Raiders varsity basketball team fell short of their quest for postseason play Tuesday night by losing to Ashland, 46-41.

The Clockers held a 1 point lead and by the end of the third quarter the score was tied, 27-27.

D-S played efficiently in the fourth quarter allowing only two turnovers but came up short on a couple of crucial layups.

Abby Greene led the Lady Raiders with 13 points and Andrea Marx chipped in with 12 point. Hannah Crowley added 8 points for D-S.

The Lady Raiders now have a 6-11 record on the season.

D-S will travel to Holliston on Friday for a 6:30 p.m. game.
