Dover-Sherborn girls soccer blogger Janene Goudreault submitted this summary of the game:

Tuesday afternoon, the Dover-Sherborn Girls soccer (7-2-2)  wins, 3-1 against TVL Hopkington (5-4-1).

DSGS is rallying up points and on their way to a successful season.  The defending 2011 State Champions have a big win over Hopkinton on home turf.  #7 Junior Jackie Goudreault tallies the first goal on a direct kick outside of the box in the second half to put the first point on the board in the second half of the game.  #4 Senior Captain Victoria Ortega tallies the second goal and #13 Senior Robiny Jamerson tallies an  assist off of a corner to score an own goal. Hopkinton does show force with less than 10 minutes left in the second half to come up big with a score from #7 Senior Leah Holmes.  Hopkinton came up short and DS wins.

Freshman #24 Sarah Williams has 10 saves for the Raiders.  DS has 15 shots on net and Hopkinton also has 15 shots.  Thursday, October 11th at home to play Norton.  Come support your Raiders!
