Registration Now Open For 7th Annual D-S Boosters Triathlon

The 2011 Dover Sherborn Boosters Triathlon is to be held on Sunday, September 18th at 8 a.m. Our sprint level race is in its seventh year and has become very popular with experienced triathletes and first-timers alike. The race includes a 0.25 mile swim, 14.8 mile bike, and 3.4 mile run.

We have filled up and closed registration by early August in the last 6 years, so sign up early to guarantee a spot in the race.

We have a great post race brunch buffet and enjoy the support of over 200 volunteers.

The Dover-Sherborn Boosters Triathlon is a locally planned and locally run event that has been developed to benefit the Dover-Sherborn Boosters.

Booster funding allows our high school and middle school to continue providing quality athletic experiences for our children.

Our mission is to highlight the Boosters organization and the towns of Dover and Sherborn while providing an event that focuses on health and exercise.

The race winds through the scenic roads of Dover and Sherborn past farms, rivers, and antique houses. The swim is in Farm Pond in Sherborn and the run finishes Olympic style on the new track at Dover-Sherborn High School.

Tri and Du It Multisports will provide timing services this year using chip timing technology. They have provided us with excellent service since 2008.

We continue to make improvements in our race based on the excellent feedback that we have received from our competitors.

This race will include two transition areas. The swimike transition will occur at Farm Pond and the bike un transition will occur at Dover-Sherborn High School. Shuttle service between the two sites will be provided for you and any spectators on race day.
