Type: Traditional Day

Details: Located on 113 acres of fields and woods in Framingham, Pilgrim Day Camp offers children safe, summer fun in the out-of-doors. It’s a traditional summer day camp with an emphasis on wide welcome, care of the natural world, a respect for differences, and fun.  The Camp offers children an opportunity to learn respect for one another and for the natural world, to be challenged, to learn new skills, and to make lifelong friendships.  Whether your children come for one week, one session, or the whole summer, they will enjoy a dedicated staff, lots of open space, and a wide range of activities that will make their summer a memorable experience.

The Little Gym

Location: 122 Turnpike Rd., Westborough

Type: Themed day

Dates: all summer

Details: Camps are available to both The Little Gym members and non-members. Our theme-based camps offer three hours of fun and fitness with a flexible registration to meet your schedule! Each week of camp is designed around a theme such as “TLG’s Crazy Carnival”, “Superheroes” or “X-Treme Sports of ALL Sorts” and will include games, obstacle courses (for total fitness), crafts and movement challenges. A light snack is included. Camps run from 9 a.m. to noon for ages 3-6 and 1 to 4 p.m. for ages 4-10. All Campers must be completely potty-trained. Full-day options are available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

YMCA Hopkinton Summer Day Camp

Location: 45 East St., Hopkinton

Type: Traditional and specialty camps

Dates: June 24-Aug. 23, one- and two-week sessions

Details: Serves all of MetroWest, with bus routes in Sudbury, Natick, Hopkinton, Framingham, Holliston, Ashland, Marlborough, Southborough, Millis, Sherborn, Medway and Milford.

Milford Community Use Program 

Location: 31 West Fountain St., Milford

Type: Traditional

Dates: Summer

Details: Milford Youth Center Summer Camp registration is now open! Activities include weekly field trips and fun in-town activities! Trips include Southwicks Zoo, Canobie Lake Park, Basketball Hall of Fame, Bellingham Cinema, Ice skating, Pinz Entertainment, Water Wizz, and a whale watch! In-town activities include Fino Pool, the town park, and activities at the Center!

Boys & Girls Club of Marlborough

Details: The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest provides children and youth with the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe, comfortable and exciting environment. The summer experience can provide lasting relationships, personal development, new opportunities and fun.

Northborough Recreation Department

Location: Northborough

Type: traditional

Dates: June 24-Aug. 15

Details: This program includes camp opportunities for all age levels offered throughout the summer. Club Assabet, Kids Discovery and Teen Scene are the options. Club Assabet is for ages 3 through 5 and is a half-day program that incorporates games, storytime, arts and crafts, and water play from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday. Kids Discovery is for elementary-aged kids and offers both half and full days. Teen Scene meets Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to  4 p.m. Extended day hours are available at an additional charge and field trips are incorporated into the Kids Discovery and Teen Scene full day options.

Fay Discovery Day Camp

Location: 48 Main St., Southborough

Type: Traditional day camp

Dates: one-week sessions, June 24-Aug. 16

Details: Campers are grouped by age, and daily schedules include swimming lessons along with an ever-changing mix of activities. Campers who want to pursue a hobby or interest in more depth can choose our weeklong Specialty Camps, which offer a half-day focus on one topic coupled with a half-day of traditional camp activities.

Mass. Audubon

Location: Throughout Massachusetts

Type: Nature day camps

Dates: one-week sessions, June 24-Aug. 16

Details: At Mass Audubon's summer camp programs, children spend time outdoors, discover the natural world, meet new friends, play noncompetitive games and have fun! And with 18 day camps from the Berkshires to the Cape & Islands, and everywhere in between, there's a Mass audubon camp in your neighborhood.

Hale Summer Day Camp

Location: Hale Reservation, 80 Carby St., Westwood

Type: Traditional 

Dates: June 24-Aug. 23, one-week sessions

Details: Situated on 1,130 acres of woodlands, winding streams, extensive hiking trails and scenic ponds, Hale Day Camp offers the perfect backdrop for a summer of outdoor exploration and learning. Hale Day Camp’s campus consists of two playing fields, a private swimming beach with changing area and bathroom, an outdoor activity pavilion, an Arts & Crafts cabin, Worthington and Powissett Lodges.

Camp Wititoh

Location: Center Lake, Becket

Type: Traditional overnight camp

Dates: three-week, four-week, full season

Details: Established in 1937, and owned and directed by the Hoch Family since 1960, Watitoh is an overnight camp for children, ages 7-16, who like to take part in an active program of land and water sports, creative and performing arts and outdoor hiking and camping.

Cape Cod Sea Camp

Location: Brewster

Type: Overnight sports, activities and lessons

Dates: three-and-a-half- or seven-week session, June 30-Aug. 17

Details: Resident Campers have the opportunity to choose different activities out of an average of 20. Activity periods are approximately one hour.

Type: Overnight Lacrosse

Details: With PrimeTime Lacrosse you see a staff of individuals that is always engaged with the campers, holding themselves and the players to the highest level of sportsmanship and integrity on and off the field.

Camp Emerson

Details: The program is designed to bring out each campers’ talents and to challenge them to try new things.

Seafaring

Location: Boston

Type: Seafaring adventure

Dates: July 27-Aug. 7

Details: Seafaring Camp is a one-week co-educational learning adventure for teens 13-16, exploring the marine environment of coastal New England to discover the sea’s rich diversity of life, history, and lore.

Wizards & Warriors

Location: Westford

Type: Adventure

Dates: three sessions; June 30-Aug. 9

Details: This is the most immersive summer camp experience with outdoor battles and encounters, late night events, and special events planned. All meals are provided. Campers reside in either wooden cabins with screen windows and doors, or platform cabin tents with screen windows and doors.

John Smith Sports

Location: Needham, Marlboro, North Andover, Weston

Type: Soccer

Dates: June 24-Aug. 16

Details: Each morning is concentrated on individual techniques, while in the afternoon, on tactics. Each session is followed by our 6v6 tournament to give campers the opportunity to utilize their new skills in a match situation.

Emagination Camp

Location: Bentley University, Waltham

Type: Technology

Dates: June 30-Aug. 16

Details: This core computer camp program is for 8-17-year-olds and balances technology learning with fun summer camp activities in two-week sessions. It also offers a one-week mini session at the end of the summer. There are more than 20 Technology Workshops plus five recreation choices including Retro Games, Tennis, Swimming and Drama.

Rhode Island

Camp Jori

Location: Cranston

Type: Only Jewish Camp in Rhode Island

Dates: two- and four-week sessions, June-August

Details: Camp JORI, the only Jewish overnight camp in Rhode Island, has been providing memorable summer experiences for children since 1937.

Canonicus

Location: Exeter

Type: Christian camping experience

Dates: one-week sessions, June 23-Aug. 16

Details: There are more than 300 acres of field, wetland, and forest to explore and enjoy at Canonicus. They offer a variety of traditional camp activities which are wholesome and engaging as well as daily Bible study designed to encourage campers' faith.

SuperCamp

Location: Brown University, Providence

Type: Academic

Dates: July 5-Aug.4

Details: SuperCamp teaches the essential skills that children need to succeed as citizens and workers in the 21st century. Learnings include note-taking skills, studying and test-taking strategies.

YMCA

Location: Point Judith Sound, Wakefield

Type: Traditional overnight camp

Dates: one- and two-week sessions, June 23-Aug. 17

Details: Spend the summer with boys and girls your age who enjoy all of the same activities. You can join in all of the activities you already love and try out some new ones. Activities include sail, swim, skate, craft, bike, canoe, kayak, windsurf, climb, create, stretch and play.

New Hampshire

Camp Cody

Type: Traditional overnight camp

Dates: two- and four-week sessions, June 23-Aug. 17

Details: Nestled on the sandy beaches of beautiful Lake Ossipee amidst the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Cody offers a summer experience rich in fun, friendship, learning and adventure for ages 7 to 15.

Wildwood

Location: Rindge

Type: Overnight nature camp

Dates: one- and two-week sessions, June 30-Aug. 24

Details: Wildwood is a multidimensional summer program for young people ages 9 to 17 focusing on active exploration of the natural world, owned and operated by Mass Audubon.

Adventure Camp Sargent Center

Location: Hancock

Type: Adventure/wilderness

Dates: six- and 13-day sessions, July 3-Aug. 12

Details: In-camp adventures include: low and high ropes courses, group initiatives, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, archery, waterfront activities, and on-site backpacking trips. Our Wilderness Trip program features off-site trips for three to eight days in rock climbing, kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking and canoeing through New England.

Camp Allen

Location: Bedford, NH

Type: Developmental disabilities and outdoor challenges

Dates: five- and 10-day sessions, June 12-Aug. 26

Details: Camp Allen provides opportunities for growth, friendship and fun for children and adults with developmental disabilities and other challenges in an outdoor environment. The ratio of counselor to camper is 1:2 and a 1:1 is available.
