The Week Ahead: Inspiring Families, Knit Wits and More!

A selection of weekend events for Dover, Needham and Sherborn this week.

1. The National Weather Service report indicates that there could be Thunderstorms. a 60 percent chance of storms, and a high of 80ºF kicks off Tuesday, with temperatures dipping to 58ºF in the evening, and storm odds dropping to 30 percent.

2. If you need an inspirational boost, and your Emergency Puppy isn't cutting it for you, then perhaps you should swing by to meet some of Needham's Inspirational Families. The photo exhibit is on at Needham Town Hall, and started up last week.

3. 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, sharpen your knitting needles (or dull them, if that's better for knitting) and head to the Sherborn Library. They are starting a class for beginner or intermediate knitters--you have burning questions about yarn, they have answers. Head over to knit wittily.

4. Erin's School of Dance in Dover (who are also grateful for fan support in recently being named a Hometown Best and a Readers Choice #1) are holding an Open House for registration this week. Wednesday at 4 p.m., stop by to register for classes or just check the place out.

5. If your kids like fun, then they're in luck on Saturday. The 4Cs for Kids Fund is celebrating its fifth annual Fun for Kids day, from 1 p.m. on! Wristbands are available there for $5. For more information, see their Facebook page.
