Selectmen meeting, football camp and game night coming up soon at the library.
1. Tonight is the last night of the Raider Football Camp. Dover-Sherborn High School Coach Joey Schotland and staff, who are being assisted by some of their high school players, are teaching some more fundamentals after holding a camp in the spring. 2. The Sherborn Board of Selectman will be meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. 3.Did you know that throughout the year the Sherborn fire department runs various first aid and CPR classes. The Raiders lost to Holliston 42-6 Friday night.
The Raiders fell, 42-6, in a rain soaked game with Holliston High School Friday night. The Raiders were unable to keep pace with the Panther offense who picked up big chunks of yardage through the air and on the ground throughout the game. The Raiders only score came on a touchdown pass from Will Scatchard to wideout Jake Wirth in the second quarter. Holliston quarterback Dan Barone picked the Raider defense apart running in three touchdowns and throwing for two more. Raider runningback Matt Heinlein, who scored four rushing touchdowns last week in a win over Northeast Metro Tech and also serves as the team's kicker, did not play against Holliston because of a leg injury. The Raiders are now 1-2 on the season and look to rebound next week …

D-S captain Matt Heinlein scorched the Knights with four touchdowns in the game.
Matt Heinlein was a man on a mission Friday night. The Raiders captain scored four rushing touchdowns against two-time defending Div. 4A champions Northeast Metro Tech at Frothingham Field Friday night to lead the Raiders to a 27-14 victory. Heinlein had 15 carries for 174 yards rushing and also had two receptions for 17 yards. On the defensive side of the ball Heinlein made 8 tackles, three that went for a loss. “Matt does a lot for us. He runs the ball, he can throw the ball, he can catch the ball, he makes tackles, he’s a big part of our kicking game and he’s just very gutsy,” said D-S Head Coach Joey Schotland, who tallied his first victory as head coach of the Raiders Friday night.
