Can you dunk your favorite police officer in the dunk tank?
The Dover Police Association will be holding their annual Open House, Sunday, June 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The family-oriented Open House will be held at the Dover Police Department, 3 Walpole St, Dover. Take a tour of the police station, including the emergency communications center, booking & jail cells and firearms range. There will be a Police K9 demonstration and the MetroLEC SWAT Command Post will be on display throughout the day. All are invited to this free family event which will include an outdoor cookout, a dunk tank and moonwalks.
Many community organizations took part in the Dover-Sherborn High School Dollars for Scholars night at which students could learn what local scholarships are available to graduating D-S seniors.
Students and parents gathered at the Dover-Sherborn Regional High School on Wednesday night to collect college scholarship information from local organizations that offer awards to local students. “We’re trying to give the parents and students a first look at what’s available for scholarship money,” said Rebecca Cellucci who helped organize this year’s event.
