The Raiders played to a 1-1 tie with Watertown, but lost in the penalty shootout after Watertown goalie Greg Koutroukas saved one of the shots.
All year long the Dover-Sherborn boys soccer team wanted what their female counterparts had accomplished last year: a State Title. Wednesday night the DSHS found themselves one game away from the State Championship game when they faced Watertown, but WHS had been a team on a mission so far this tournament, and for the second straight game they walked away with a win in a shootout, 5-3, clinching themselves a spot in teh MIAA Division 3 State Final. The teams played an even, up-tempo game of soccer for 80 minutes of regulation, after which the game was tied 1-1. The Raiders fell, 2-1, in a penalty kick shootout, ending their season.
The D-S boys varsity soccer team fell to Cardinal Spellman 2-1 after penalty kick in the Div. 3 South Sectional Finals Sunday. The thrilling game was tied 1-1 after double overtime when the teams brought out their best shooters for a penalty kick shootout. Each team had five penalty kick goals apeice when the Raiders eigth penalty shooter Chris Flight kicked the ball wide-left missing the net. Cardinal Spellman senior Robert Studley then kicked the ball past D-S keeper Brian Hands to seal the win for the Cardinals. A lot of the Raiders broke down on the field after the deciding kick as their season and defense of their Div. 3 state title came to an end.

The Raiders have not allowed a goal in postseason play so far.
The D-S boys varsity soccer team will advance on to the semi-finals of the Div. 3 South Sectionals after beating Hanover, 4-0, at home Wednesday night. The Raiders played a physical Hanover team who held D-S in-check for the majority of the first half until giving up two goals in a span of 30 seconds with 2:31 to go. Up 2-0 at the half the Dover-Sherborn offense began to impose their will on the Indians who struggled to keep posession of the ball and spent much of the second half defending in their own end. The Raiders got goals from Chris Flight, Sam Hunter, Sam Jordan and Johnny Coutts. The game was the second straight postseason shutout for Raider keeper Brian Hands. Both teams will advance to the quarter-finals in their respective tournaments.
The D-S boys and girls varsity soccer teams advanced to the quarter-finals of tournament play with their dominating performances on Monday. The boys defeated Harwich High School at Frothingham Field, 6-0, taking their first step to defending their Div. 3 State Championship from last year. The Raider boys outshot the Rough Riders 11-5 in the match behind an aggressive offense led by Chris Flight. Flight had two goals and two assists in the game. Jake Grossbaum, Walker Littlehale, Johnny Coutts and Sam Hunter also scored in the rout. The girls also won 6-0 beating Blue Hills on the road in Canton.
