Dover-Sherborn Boys Soccer Falls to Watertown in State Semi-Finals

The Raiders played to a 1-1 tie with Watertown, but lost in the penalty shootout after Watertown goalie Greg Koutroukas saved one of the shots.

  All year long the Dover-Sherborn boys soccer team wanted what their female counterparts had accomplished last year: a State Title. Wednesday night the DSHS found themselves one game away from the State Championship game when they faced Watertown, but WHS had been a team on a mission so far this tournament, and for the second straight game they walked away with a win in a shootout, 5-3, clinching themselves a spot in teh MIAA Division 3 State Final. The teams played an even, up-tempo game of soccer for 80 minutes of regulation, after which the game was tied 1-1.
