Body Found in Charles River Near Medfield/Sherborn Line

Brian Davis, 42, of 24 Adams St., Medfield, was found dead in the Charles River Monday at approximately 3:24 p.m. after he was reported missing earlier in the day.

MEDFIELD-Medfield Police found the body of a Medfield man in the Charles River Monday just hours after his wife reported him missing, according to police reports. Brian Davis, 42, of 24 Adams St., Medfield, was found dead in the Charles River – not far from the shoreline – near the Sherborn line at approximately 3:24 p.m., according to Medfield Chief of Police Robert E. Meaney Jr. While the cause of death is unknown at this time, Meaney said there was no indication of trauma or foul play. "We will not know the cause of death until the Medical Examiner makes that determination in the next few days," Meaney said Wednesday. "There was no indication of trauma or of foul play. Dover Police Searching For Man Who Allegedly Fled Car Accident Into Woods

Two people were injured when one vehicle "t-boned" another on Route 109 in Dover Sunday night.

Dover Police are currently searching for a man who allegedly fled the scene of an accident that took place on County Street in Dover, Sunday night. According to police, a man fled into the woods after crashing his vehicle into a stopped vehicle on Route 109 which took place at 9:13 p.m., Sunday night. Two people were injured in the crash. One man, a Dover resident who was in the stopped vehicle, was taken to Norwood Hospital with injuries sustained from the crash. A female passenger in the vehicle that struck the other was taken to a Boston hospital for injuries as well. Dover Police Log  Monday – June 20, 2011 Continuing Investigation  1:38 a.m. Draper Road - Officers conducting an investigation of a previous noise complaint call. Hazardous Condition 2:44 p.m. Centre St. and Knollwood Dr. - Multiple callers reported a hay truck lost approximately 15 bales of in the road. The highway department responded and removed the hay from the road. Animal Complaint 2:59 p.m. Caller reports large snake in bulkhead stairs. Animal control officer was notified. Soliciting 6:16 p.m. Village Hill Rd. – A caller stated that a solicitor came to his door and was rude.  When he refused to buy anything from her she swore and gave him the finger.
