A few miles away in Westwood, a woman returned home to find her house being robbed.
In nearby Westwood, police have responded to three home robberies in less than two weeks. A woman returned to her Strafford Road home after an errand on Friday to find her house was being robbed in an ordeal she said left her "shocked," according to WCVB.com The woman, who asked to be identified only as Patti, said the man limped away after threatening her and jumping over her home's second-story deck. “I was screaming and then he told me to shut up in so many words or that he would blow my brains out,” Patti told WCVB. “And he kept telling me to shut up or he was going to shoot me.” The thief carried away two laptop computers and opened drawers throughout the home but took nothing else, WCVB reports.

Police responded to a robbery at the Rte. 1 Dunkin' Donuts on Tuesday.
The Westwood Police Department provided the following press release. On Tuesday March 12, 2013 at approximately 7:40 p.m. Westwood Police responded to a report of a robbery with a knife at Dunkin’ Donuts at 208 Providence Highway (Route 1). The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’6 with a medium build. The suspect was dressed in black clothing including a black scarf wrapped around his face. As he approached the cashier he displayed a knife and ordered the cashier to open the cash register drawer. A small amount of cash was stolen and the suspect fled. Nobody was injured during the event. The investigation is ongoing.
