Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Nov. 12 and 13

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. The Dover-Sherborn boys and girls soccer teams will both be competing in the MIAA Div. 3 South Sectional Finals on Sunday. Both games will be held at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. The girls will be playing Norwell at 11:00 a.m. The boys game will be at 1:30 p.m. against the winner of Saturday's game between Cardinal Spellman and Nantucket. 2. Sherborn Town Administrator Search Committee Member Miller Steps Down

Miller cited mistreatment during a selectmen's meeting as her reason for resignation.

Judi Miller has resigned from Sherborn’s Town Administrator Search Committee citing mistreatment by the Selectmen during their July 23 meeting. “It’s hard to explain. I feel that there are unresolved issues that I became aware of after I joined the committee with regard to the Town Administrator role and I couldn’t in good conscience work with the direction it was moving given those issues,” Miller said. Miller said one of the issues that concern her, “is over many years the town has had a succession of Town Administrators that didn’t work out.” She also believes, “the town has some systemic problems with regard to that position that aren’t being addressed.”     Regarding Miller’s resignation Selectmen Paul DeRensis said, “It was only a …
