Lovell's Flowers & Nursery in Medfield has been named the best florist in the area by Dover-Sherborn Patch readers.
This past week, we asked readers to fill us in on who the best florist in the Dover-Sherborn area is. After days of polling, the results are in! Lovell's Flowers & Nursery has been chosen as the best florist shop in the area. Our unscientific D-S Patch poll shows the majority of readers will be stopping by Lovell's for their floral needs in time for Mother's Day, prom and graduations. The Main Street floral shop claimed 80-percent of the votes. In second place with 20-percent of the votes was Westwood Gardens Flower Shop in Westwood. Lovell's is located at 160 Main St. and offers a variety of floral options, including traditional bouquets. The winner of the Best of Patch Readers' Choice award for the best pizza in Dover and Sherborn is... Dover Cafe Deli and Pizza. The restaurant opened in 2007 and offers a wide selection including pizza, sandwiches, ice cream and deli meats and also a full breakfast menu. The Dover Cafe also provides a catering service for private events. The Dover Cafe won this week's poll with 75 percent of votes, followed by runner-up Village Pizza in Sherborn with 25 percent.
