The boys' beat the Warriors 7-5, Friday night.
The Dover-Sherborn boys’ varsity lacrosse team took a huge step towards a potential Tri-Valley League title with a 7-5 victory over two-time defending Division 2 State Champion Medfield in Dover Friday night. Jared Spence scored a hat trick for the Raiders and Ben Newbert added two goals of his own, as D-S won its second in a row over their neighbors. The Medfield High School girls basketball team scored over 60 points for the third time in four games Tuesday, but it was the Warriors defense that keyed a 69-22 victory over rival Dover-Sherborn. "We played outstanding team defense and Jen [Narlee] is really the center piece of that," said Medfield head coach Mark Nickerson. "This was a good win for us and a good building block as we move forward." Narlee led the Warriors with a strong overall game, netting a game-high 16 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. D-S was shooting lights out in the first half hitting five shots from behind the arc - including four from Raider Ned Linehan. In the second half their offense went cold and Medfield stepped up defensively, …
